i'm the webmaster, maddie, and this is my little corner of the internet where i keep all the stuff i really, really like! ( ^_^ ) it's probably always going to be a work in progress (i mean, this is hardly the first homepage layout i've ever had) because i'm indecisive and can't just stick to one thing for too long... that, and i'm always learning new stuff about coding that lets me add more interesting things to my site! please enjoy your time browsing here and feel free to leave some messages in my chatbox for me to read later!
also, sorry if the site looks a little funky on your computer... it's optimised for opera gx running on my laptop so other browsers & screen sizes might not work quite as well ^^"
Q: can i use your site as inspiration for my own?
A: of course!! as long as you don't totally rip off my site (i.e: steal chunks right outta my sourcecode) it's fine to take inspo or use my code to teach yourself html!
Q: how did you do (X) on your site?
A: if i had the time to sit down n do a detailed explanation of how i added all the stuff in my code, i totally would... maybe one day i'll add a tutorial/help section! but rn i really can't do much to help besides advise that you look at my code & try to figure it out yourself!
Q: why did you start coding?
A: i'll be honest, i was... bored! i started sillyhearts on a total whim. in fact, i hadn't even anticipated that i'd end up taking it as 'seriously' as i do. funny how these things work out, isn't it?

2/10/24 : minor cosmetic updates & working on revamping other pages
28/09/24 : added a section for buttons to other people's sites & also made some buttons for linking to my own site!
28/09/24 : finally added a custom font!!!!!
20/09/24 : finished blog page layout & added first entry!
09/09/24 : finished new homepage layout! (totally didn't work overnight to do so...) also added about me page!!
08/09/24 : started working on new homepage layout!
